If you are having trouble casting to your TV, the steps below will help you resolve the most common issues. Please work through them in order.
Compatible Devices
Casting is currently supported on the following devices:
- Roku
- Apple TV
- Fire TV
- Chromecast/Google TV
Please note: Your streaming device should be 4 years old or newer to work properly with the Angel app.
Troubleshooting Steps
- Check your device compatibility. Confirm you are using one of the supported devices listed above.
- Check your network connection. Make sure your mobile device and your streaming device are both connected to the same WiFi network.
- Restart your streaming device. The option to restart is typically found under your device's Settings menu. If you are unsure how to restart your specific device, a quick search online for your device name and "how to restart" will help.
- Hard close the Angel app on your Android or iOS device, then reopen it.
- Check your VPN. If you are using a VPN, try disabling it as it may be blocking the connection. You can also reset your internet connection by unplugging your modem for 30 seconds.
- Update your device. Make sure your streaming device is running the latest available software update.
- Download the Angel app directly to your streaming device. If casting continues to be an issue, you can avoid it entirely by searching for and installing the Angel app directly on your streaming device.
