How do I change my avatar for my profile? (Mobile & TV App)

Mobile App

  • Open the Angel App
  • Select More in the bottom right corner of the Mobile App
    • If the Admin Profile is not currently selected, select the avatar with the title Admin
    • Select More in the bottom right corner of the Mobile App
  • Select Manage
  • Select Settings or Edit Profile
  • Select Update Profile Picture 
  • Once you select a new option the changes will be automatically save.

Select the back arrow to exit. Only Admin profiles can upload a picture from a gallery.

TV App

Admin Profile

  • Open the Angel App
  • Under "Who's Watching" select the Admin avatar
  • Select the Account menu option
  • Select the pencil icon under Account Settings
  • Select the pencil icon again under the Avatar Image
    • Select a color
    • To take a picture or choose a picture from your library as an avatar photo for your profile, please visit the Angel mobile app or angel.com

Your avatar will save automatically and you can exit the Account Settings page.

Limited Profile

  • Open the Angel App
    • If you already have the app open you can select Account and select Switch Profiles
  • Under "Who's Watching" select the pencil icon under the Limited profile
  • Scan QR code using your device's camera
  • Select Manage on the device you scanned the QR code with
  • Select the pencil icon under the Limited profile you want to edit
  • Select Change Avatar 
    • Limited profiles may only choose from the provided characters on screen
  • Select the text box under "Profile Name" to change the Limited Profile name
  • Select Content Rating or Allow Specific Titles to adjust what content this limited user sees. 

Your Limited profile is now updated and you can select Done on the TV.
