*Most Samsung TV and LG TV problems can be solved by restarting your device.*
How to restart your Samsung TV or LG TV:
- While the TV is on, press and hold the Power button on the Samsung remote for about 5 seconds. The TV will turn off. After a few moments, the Samsung logo will appear and the TV will turn on again.
If you don't have a remote, you can also unplug the Samsung/LG device from the power source, wait 30 seconds, and then reconnect it.
*If a restart doesn’t help, your software may be the problem. Samsung/LG software updates usually happen automatically in the background, but sometimes the process doesn’t work and you may have to manually update it.*
How to update Samsung TV or LG TV Software:
- Using your remote, navigate to and select Settings, then select All Settings, and then select Support.
- Select Software Update, then select Update Now.
- New updates will be downloaded and installed. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the device until the update is complete. When the update is finished, it will restart automatically. If there aren't any new updates, select OK to exit.
