What's it about?

A former soldier is thrown into a brutal race against time when a critical medical delivery makes him the target of a ruthless cartel. With betrayal closing in from every side, he must survive the chase and deliver his cargo before an innocent child runs out of time.

When is the release date?

Runner will be released in theaters in the US and Canada on September 11, 2026!

International release dates will be announced accordingly.

What is it rated?

Runner has received an MPA rating of PG-13 for strong violence, bloody images and some language.

While the MPA has officially rated the movie PG-13, here at Angel we know that rating doesn’t always give parents the full picture. The Angel Guild—a community of thousands of parents, viewers, and supporters who screen and vote on Angel projects—has recommended the movie for Ages 16+ for strong action violence, bloodshed, intense peril, and some language, including 1 use of sh*t, 1 d*mn, 1 p*ss, and a crude threat.

Will there be Closed Captioning?

We are making the following language options available to theaters:

English: Dubbing, Caption Subtitles, SDH, and Audio Description

Spanish: Dubbing, Caption Subtitles, and SDH

French: Dubbing and Caption Subtitles

Please contact your local theater directly to make sure they have the capability to provide those to you.
