If you need to update the phone number on your account, this article will walk you through how to do it.
Your phone number at checkout is managed by Link, a third-party checkout service from Stripe, our payment processor. Because Link is a separate service, Angel cannot update your phone number for you. You can update it yourself by resetting your Link account.
How to Update Your Phone Number with Link
- Visit the Link account reset page at support.link.com/how-to-reset-your-account?status=phone
- Enter the email address associated with your account and click "Send verification link."
- Check your inbox for a secure email from Link.
- Follow the instructions in the email to complete the reset and update your phone number.
Note: If you have trouble receiving the verification email, please check your junk/spam folders. If you don't find it there, you will need to reach out to Link's customer support directly at support.link.com/contact/login for further assistance.
Important: Changing your phone number resets your Link account. You will lose any saved data associated with your previous phone number, including:
- Card information
- Billing address
- Shipping address
- Bank connections
- Purchase history
Resetting your Link account will not cancel your active Guild Membership. However, because your saved payment method is removed during this process, your next billing renewal may fail. We recommend verifying your payment method is still on file at angel.com/account after completing this process.
Prefer Not to Use Link?
You can skip Link entirely at checkout. Click the "X" in the top right corner of the Link prompt and enter your payment information manually.
